My wife Chrissy and I
were both saved in 1980. We did not attend Calvary Chapel until 1989, and spent our first
year there getting grounded in God’s Word. We then became involved in the music ministry
- myself as a piano player, and Chrissy as a singer.
I served as an Elder
at Calvary Chapel of the Westside for about 5 years. I had the privilege
during these years to become involved with the pre-teen group, oversee the youth group,
and then oversee the singles group. Chrissy and I traveled to Fredonia for one year to
teach a Bible Study. I was also fortunate to attend the Shepherd’s School at Calvary
Chapel of the Finger Lakes.
After several years at Calvary Chapel, I felt the call to Pastor. The Lord opened the doors for us to plant a Calvary Chapel in Buffalo in 1996, and we continue to serve Him in this capacity to the present.
